ADD-A-SWITCH
FUNCTION CONTROL

The ADD-A-SWITCH is new idea for those modelers who have run out of channels in their radio system but would like to control up to 2 auxiliary functions such as lights, etc.

The ADD-A-SWITCH installs between the receiver and one of the servos or a speed control and can independently control 2 on/off functions. The control stick, in its normal range, controls the servo or speed control in the normal manner. If the stick is moved rapidly to either end of travel, the circuitry in the ADD-A-SWITCH remembers the last setting and maintains it. Then moving the trim in the corresponding direction, the switch function is activated.

SUBGUARD

SAFETY SYSTEM

The SUBGUARD Failsafe Safety System is a small unit which connects between the receiver and servo and monitors the signal being output by the receiver.

The servo operates in the normal manner until the SUBGUARD detects a loss of signal, however caused, say, from a low receiver or transmitter battery, too far out-of-range, or, as in the case of a submarine, too much depth. When SUBGUARD detects loss-of-signal, it automatically moves the servo a pre-set amount, for example, blowing ballast on submarines.

On gas-powered craft, it can perform a deadman’s-throttle operation, if desired. The SUBGUARD controls not only the operation of the servo, it also controls a relay out-put for bilge-pump control, for example. The SUBGUARD also includes a standard water sensor which will immediately trip the unit upon detection of a leak thus activating whatever system you have connected to the unit, either ballast blow servo or solenoid, dive planes or bilge pump.

  • User-settable time delay from 1 seconds to 5 seconds before servo and/or solenoid activation begins
