Lobsterboats symbolize the coast of Maine. Possessing a semi-displacement hull with a sharp V forward at the bow, it is relatively flat at the stern. The low freeboard, the distinct sheer and long sleek waterline all contribute to this boat's unique lines. Developed after World War I, the Lobsterboat is a seagoing pickup truck! Constructed originally from wood, today they are constructed of both wood and fiberglass. Normally measuring from twenty to fifty feet in length, this model represents a typical 30 foot version.

A Complete Kit Featuring:

• Painted fiberglass hull with pre-finished wood deck and cockpit.
• Painted ABS Cabinhouse featuring pre-installed windows, detailed cockpit, and Mahogany handrails and trim.
• High Torque 5 Pole Electric Motor provides scale speed and long run times. Typical run time is over 1 hour!
• Speed Control with 2 speeds forward and 2 speeds reverse.
• All R/C equipment is easily accessible. Motor batteries are located underneath the cockpit floor and easily accessed via a removable panel.
• Removable front cabin hatch provides easy access to radio equipment.
• Rear hatch in stern provides access to rudder post/steering linkage.
• 3 Lobster Traps with Pot Buoys, Removable Staysail & Rigging, Pothauler and Display Stand.
